Could Your Energy use a little Spring Cleaning?

by Kim St.Andre

It's that magical time of year again where everything is fresh and sprouting up!

Spring has a way of shifting our home energy into cleaning up and clearing out the clutter mode. Surely you notice how great it feels to be in your home after a good Spring Cleaning.

It's really no different for our own Energetic Fields.

When we take the time to clear our own energy we can instantly feel lighter & revitalized.

Unlike our homes many people I see don't know how to clean/clear their energy. Our parents taught us how to do the dishes, mop the floors and take out the trash… how do we clean our thoughts and get rid of our baggage?

The options are plentiful:

Chakra Clearing

Sea salt baths

and the list goes on and on….

however many are overwhelmed by the options and instead of choosing one they don't choose any.

I felt the same way when I was first presented with all these options of cleaning and clearing my energy.

Personally I feel the most powerful place to begin is simply with our thoughts.. our self talk.

It will blow your mind how much your own self talk is cluttering up your energy!!

So if your ready to do a little Energy Spring Cleaning start with these baby steps below…

Day 1 ~ Make a tally mark for every negative self talk comment  (use your smart phone under notes)

Day 2 ~ For every negative self talk comment replace it twice with the opposite Ex.. I am so fat replace with I am so grateful for my healthy beautiful body

Day 3 ~ Repeat Day 2 and add the same exercise to every negative self talk you have about others you come in contact with.

Day 4 ~ Repeat Day 2 and 3

Day 5 ~ Make note of what your first thought is as you wake up in the morning if it's a negative one you know what to do….replace with 2 positive thoughts!! Continue on with Day 2&3

Day 6 ~ Repeat Day 5 & focus on your thoughts as you begin to fall asleep …. are they positive ones? if not you know what to do now 😀 Yes that's right replace them with positive ones!

Rinse ~ Wash ~ Repeat 😉

Seems simple enough right?

Personally when I first did this exercise I must admit my head was pretty tired by the end of day 2!! I was pretty surprised at the amount of negative self talk thoughts I had about myself.

This has become a daily habit for me now… Listen I have not perfected my self talk (not sure if we ever erase it completely)  however I am grateful for the improvement I have made and I now surround myself with people who help me with this when my negative self talk slips right on out of my mouth!! If you don't have those kind of people surrounding you it may be time for another kind of Spring Cleaning….we will save that for another time 😉

I love it! I kind of do it unconsciously now, but when I was starting out my work with mental clutter and all the negative ideas in my head – that would be a great help! Awesome tip! Thank you for sharing! 🙂

Ha! I just wrote about this from a business/ sociological perspective! Love seeing this more spiritual take on the matter!
